Empowered Together is a wellness retreat designed to bring the Fusion community together through movement, connection, and shared experience. Set in the vibrant town of Tamarindo, this retreat blends intentional movement with space to explore, unwind, and reconnect. Each day offers a natural rhythm: movement, adventure, and time to come back together, creating an experience that feels both energizing and grounding. Whether you’re stepping outside your comfort zone or simply taking time for yourself, this retreat is about feeling strong, supported, and fully present. You’ll leave feeling more connected, to yourself, to the Fusion community, and to the confidence that comes from doing something just for you.

Each day of Empowered Together is anchored by thoughtfully designed movement that reflects the heart of the Fusion experience. Mornings begin with energizing, strength-focused classes to wake up the body and ease you into the day, sometimes paired with a moment to slow down, set an intention, or simply arrive.
Nourishing Meals Prepared Daily by Private Chefs

Theme Nights / Theme Classes
One evening or class may feature a theme element, designed simply to add a fun, lighthearted layer to the experience. Whether it’s a coordinated class vibe, music, or optional attire, theme moments are meant to bring energy and connection—never pressure. Participation is always optional, and the focus stays on movement, community, and enjoying the moment together in a way that feels natural and inclusive.

Day 1
Once you've checked in and settled into your accommodation, we'll kick off with a Welcome Circle and a Restorative Yoga Class, followed by a delicious Welcome Dinner at the Villa.
Day 2
The morning will begin with an energizing class and a delicious breakfast. Afterward, you’ll have the option to join another class if you wish.
In the midday, enjoy free time to explore the villa and its beautiful surroundings. On site massages will take place during the afternoon hours. Lunch will be served at the villa for a relaxing break.
In the evening, join us for a wellness workshop, followed by the final movement session of the day. You’ll have time to refresh before a lovely dinner at the villa to wrap up the day.
Day 3
The morning will begin with an energizing class and a delicious breakfast. Afterward, you’ll have the option to join another class if you wish.
In the midday, head into town for a surf lesson or some exploring. Lunch will be served at the villa for a relaxing break.
In the evening, join us for a wellness workshop, followed by the final movement session of the day. You’ll have time to refresh before a lovely dinner underneath the stars.
Day 4
The morning will begin with an energizing class and a delicious breakfast. Afterward, you’ll have the option to join another class if you desire.
Midday offers a choice of relaxation at the villa or an exciting day on the water aboard our private 51’ PowerCat. For those not joining the boat excursion, a delightful lunch will be served at the villa.
In the evening, join us for an insightful wellness workshop, followed by the final movement session of the day. Afterward, you’ll have time to refresh before enjoying a beautiful dinner at the villa to conclude the day.
Day 5
The morning will start with an energizing class and a delicious breakfast. Afterward, you’re welcome to join another class if you’d like.
In the midday, soak up the sun and savor your last day in paradise or head out for a day of hiking and swimming in La Leona waterfalls. For those not attending, a relaxing lunch will be served at the villa for a refreshing break.
In the evening, join us for a wellness workshop, followed by the final movement session of the day. You’ll have time to refresh before enjoying a lovely dinner at the villa to end the day on a perfect note.
Day 6
We’ll conclude our experience with the final practice of the retreat.
After breakfast, we’ll gather for our closing circle before departure.

FAQs
Are flights included in the price of the retreat?
The Retreat Fee does not include airfare. Once trip is confirmed with minimum number of bookings, you'll receive an email with recommended flights.
Participant is strongly encouraged to wait until the trip is confirmed, before booking airfare or making any non-refundable travel arrangements. RE will not be liable for any damages incurred related to travel or travel expenses in the event of Cancellation or Postponement of the Retreat
Which airport do I fly into?
You will fly into Liberia airport.
How do I get to the Villa from the airport?
Private airport transfers are included in your retreat package. If you choose to arrive before the retreat begins, we’re happy to help arrange transportation to the villa; however, please note that any additional transfer costs are not included.
How far is the airport from the Villa?
90 minutes
Will I have to pay additional for my food?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at the villa are all included in your stay.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
Our chefs are extremely accommodating in relation to all dietary restrictions and allergies. You'll receive a pre-trip questionnaire where dietary restrictions should be communicated.
Can I come to the retreat alone or do I have to come with a friend?
You can absolutely come alone! This trip was created for the Fusion Yoga community and there are single person shared room accommodations for you!
Who will be teaching the classes and leading the workshops?
All classes and workshops will be led by Fusion Yoga owner, Meg Heminger and guest teacher Amy Desmarais. This is subject to change at any time.
What are some examples of classes and workshops we will see?
Flow Yoga, Barre, Buti Yoga and Sculpt
Do I have to participate in every class or workshop?
No! You'll receive an itinerary upon check-in. From there, you can choose how many activities, classes and workshops you'd like to attend. If you want to float in the pool soaking up the sun all day go for it - it's your time for self-care!
Do you offer Payment Plans?
We offer a payment plan at no additional charge. $500 is due upon booking. The remainder will be broken down into 9 additional payments.
Is my trip refundable after booking?
Clients may cancel for any reason 180 days or more before the retreat start date and apply their $500 deposit to another retreat scheduled within one year of the original retreat date. If the client does not register for a future retreat within that one-year period, the deposit will be forfeited.
Due to the limited number of spaces available, cancellations made less than 180 days before the retreat start date will result in the forfeiture of all funds paid. These funds cannot be applied to a future retreat unless RE is able to fill the spot. If the spot is filled, the client will receive a refund minus the $500 deposit.
RE is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred as a result of booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail tickets, hotel costs, non-refundable parking fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment.
Trip insurance is required by all participants and can be purchased here.
Is trip insurance included?
We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. Having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. Purchase travel insurance here.
