Rise + Roam Costa Rica invites you to Tamarindo, where The Barre + Yoga Experience community gathers for a retreat shaped by intention, movement, and meaningful connection. Designed to balance strength and freedom, each day unfolds with purposeful practice, open-air adventure, and space to reconnect — to yourself, to nature, and to one another. Mornings begin with intentional movement as the sun rises over the coast. Afternoons are yours to roam — whether that means ocean air, exploration, reflection, or simply slowing down. Evenings draw us back together in shared meals, conversation, and community. The rhythm is steady yet spacious, curated yet free — allowing you to deepen your practice while returning home grounded, energized, and quietly renewed.

This luxury villa is located on a private, secluded hillside at the entrance of Tamarindo with breathtaking views of Tamarindo estuary and the Pacific Ocean all the way north to Playa Grande, yet 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and town center.

Are flights included in the price of the retreat?
The Retreat Fee does not include airfare.
Participant is strongly encouraged to wait until the trip is confirmed, before booking airfare or making any non-refundable travel arrangements. RE will not be liable for any damages incurred related to travel or travel expenses in the event of Cancellation or Postponement of the Retreat
Which airport do I fly into?
You will fly into Liberia airport.
How do I get to the Villa from the airport?
Private airport transfers are included in the cost of the retreat. It is about a 1.5 hour drive to the Villa.
Will I have to pay additional for my food?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are all included in your stay.
What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?
Our chefs are extremely accommodating in relation to all dietary restrictions and allergies. You'll receive a pre-trip questionnaire where dietary restrictions should be communicated 8 weeks prior to departure
Who can join this Retreat?
Anyone! This retreat is open to all, regardless of experience—men and women alike. Whether you've taken a classes at The Barre + Yoga Experience before or not, everyone is welcome!
Can I come to the retreat alone or do I have to come with a friend?
You can absolutely come alone, there are single person shared room accommodations for you!
Does each room have a private bathroom?
Yes, each room has an ensuite bath.
Who will be teaching the classes and leading the workshops?
Angela Vieira, founder of The Barre + Yoga Experience and guest teachers - stay tuned!
Do I have to participate in every class or workshop?
No! You'll receive an itinerary upon check-in. From there, you can choose how many activities, classes and workshops you'd like to attend. If you want to float in the pool soaking up the sun all day go for it - it's your time for self-care!
Do you offer payment plans?
We do! $500 is due upon booking. The remainder will be broken down into 9 additional payments. If you'd like a different plan, please email angela@retreatexperience.life and we can work with you!
Is my trip refundable after booking?
Due to the limited number of spaces available at the retreat, and the commitments made by RELLC and Host based on the number of Guest bookings, if Guest cancels more than 180 days out, Client may receive a refund less a $500 deposit. If Guest cancels 180 days or less before the Retreat Date, Guest will be responsible for the total Retreat Fee. Neither Host nor RELLC has an obligation to fill the Guest’s cancelled spot.
In no event, will RE be responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, hotel expenses, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc.
Trip insurance is required by all participants and can be purchased here.
Is trip insurance included?
We do not include travel insurance as everyone’s needs are different. Having travel insurance in place for each person is a condition of your booking. Purchase travel insurance here.
